Daniela is a portrait & fine art photographer based in New York City. She was born and raised in Brooklyn and currently resides in Upper Manhattan. She spent her 20s working in the fashion industry as a Product Manager. Several years ago she left her successful career to pursue her dream of becoming a photographer. Daniela has since studied photography at the International Center of Photography and assisted various fashion, portrait & interior photographers.
Daniela worked primarily with digital photography until 2015, when an experiment painting on photographs opened up the world of mixed media for her creative outlet. She is driven by her curiosity of people, their living spaces and day-to-day life. Often consumed by fading memories and nostalgia, Daniela seeks to preserve moments and bring to life these reveries that are exploding in her mind. Quite often her work seems to border on actuality and daydream, alluding to the idea that everything has happened in a surreal place and time.
